Suspension Enhancement to Help Sag of 2016 Toyota Tundra With Lift

Question:

I have a 2016 Toyota Tundra 6 inch lift with 35 inch tires . The problem is every time I tow my Rv 1500 pounds the bed of my truck sags what is a good option to use to stop the sagging. I looked into air bags and I might purchase some at a later time when I can afford it what would your recommend.

To help with the sag of your 2016 Toyota Tundra I recommend going with Timbrens, as they are designed to take the brunt of the added weight when you tow. They will engage when needed to counteract both sag and body roll to help level your truck, while also stabilizing it to help combat sway. You'll need spacers as well, but first, the correct fit for Timbrens on a 2016 Toyota Tundra are the following:

- Timbren Suspension Enhancement System # T62FR

The springs and bracket have a total height of 4-7/8 inches, which is important to note because you'll need a 1/2 inch to 1-1/2 inch gap between the rubber spring and contact point when your Tundra is empty. So you can measure the current distance between the top of your frame and leaf spring (where the contact point is), and use that to determine how many spacers you need.

For example, if it was 9 inches, since the # T62FR will account for about 5 inches, you'd need three 1" spacers on each side (so six total). The correct spacers are the following:

- Timbren 1" Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles # TA25723-90AD00

- Timbren 1/2" Spacer For Raised Frame Vehicles # TA25722-90F00
