How To Transfer Demco Air Force One To Jeep Wrangler and Use D-Rings with Blue Ox Tow Bar
Question:
We are looking at purchasing a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited not sure of year, as looking a quite a few to use as a tow vehicle behind our motorhome. Our motorhome came with a Blue Ox BX7445 Aventa LX Tow Bar and the previous owner had an Air Force One system on the RV. We did not get any of the needed parts for the Air Force One for the TOAD as those were installed on his vehicle. The jeeps I am looking at have front bumpers with the clevis attachments on the bumpers, so could use one of those vs a base plate. Can you give me a list of parts that I would need to get to make the Air Force one operational and my options for the TOAD connection for the Tow bar I listed, please. Thank you.

In order to setup a new vehicle for use with an Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System you'll simply need the Demco SBS Second Vehicle Kit for Air Force One Supplemental Braking System part # SM99209.
In order to use the e Blue Ox Aventa LX Tow Bar part BX7445 on a Jeep Wrangler with d-rings you'll need the Blue Ox Off-Road Bumper Adapters for Blue Ox Motorhome Mounted Tow Bars part # BX88357 for 7/8" rings or part # BX88358 for 1" rings. I have attached a video I did on said adapter if you need help getting the right ones or using them.
