What is the difference C34ER from e28AR ?

Curt manufactures the # e28AR for us. It's the same exact hitch as the Curt 13473 which we offer as # C34ER. The only difference between the two is the sticker placed on it and the finish. The Curt hitch uses a glossy powder coat, while the etrailer # e28AR uses a matte powder coat finish. Other than that, the hitches are identical.

I've looked into this issue in the past and the Curt trailer wiring harness part #CU94FR for your 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe does not have any of the fire hazard issues you mentioned.
