Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid for E-Bike Rack

Question:

Thanks Jameson, I think all things consdered Ill probably go with the Curt Trailer Hitch Item # C13397, solely to save the $ towards the bike carrier. I like the Thule EasyFold XT, but it is a bit pricey compared to the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - Item # HLY84FR. What are your thoughts on this carrier? We are planning a trip taking the bikes from Ohio to South Dakota and back! later this year, and want something safe and secure!

We have great hitch options for your 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid like the etrailer part # e98848 which would work great for carrying an e-bike rack like the Thule EasyFold XT part # TH903202. This hitch has great weight capacities for a bike rack as it's rated for 525 lb tongue weight and is mostly hidden too.

If you were looking for an e-bike rack the EasyFold XT is a really great option that is lighter in weight, easy to use, and comes with ramps to make loading and unloading bikes easier as well.

The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider # SE part # HLY84FR is a really solid bike rack for e-bikes. It may not have all of the bells and whistles of the EasyFold but it's really well made and high quality. As long as you don't mind lifting the e-bikes this would work great.
