Best Hitch for Using a Bike Rack on a 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz
Question:
will the curt hitch work using a bike rack? I have read that it has issues with the bike rack swaying because it needed stronger side support. It was stated to use the draw tite hitch instead because of this isssue. Is this true? Can you confirm the curt is ok for a bike rack with no twisting issue? Thanks Hitch for 2022 Hyundia Santa Cruz

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C23WR is a confirmed fit for your 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz and will provide you with a sturdy platform for hauling a bike rack. The Curt item # C23WR and Draw-Tite item DT48GR hitches are nearly identical class III hitches and we have not heard about any issues with swaying bike racks. I can confirm that you will not have any twisting issues.
The Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories item # 18050 is required for use on 1-1/4" Curt hitches but not on their 2" hitches and it provides extra support when carrying your bike rack. It can be used on this hitch as well if you want to add extra stability.
