Will Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Connector Wiring Colors Match Utility Trailer Wiring

Do you know if the wiring code diagram shown in the item description is the same/correct for an enclosed car trailer? thanks

It is possible the wiring colors on the Hopkins 7-Way RV Style Connector with Molded Cable - Trailer End - 8' Long - RV Standard # H20046 will match the wiring on an enclosed car trailer. The wiring code for this connector follows the RV standard.
However, since wiring colors are not universal there are no guarantees. It is possible the trailer could follow the RV standard, the traditional SAE, or not follow a standard at all. If the colors match the wiring colors on the # H20046 then it is probably safe to say it is the RV standard. If you have a purple wire instead of a black wire then it is probably the traditional SAE.
