Per the linked installation instructions, the Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center with AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger, # PD4560K18LS8 should be installed vertically (converter section down) or horizontally
(converter section to the right).

What you need is two of the 50 Amp Go Power Automatic Transfer Switches, #34270278. A transfer switch will have a dominate side. How the input is wired determines how power passes through the unit.

If at all possible you want to mount breaker panels like the #PD4560K18LS8 vertically but if this is not practical you can mount it horizontally as well. I'd recommend checking with an electrician for help with the application.
