2-1/2 Inch Weight Distribution Shank for a EAZ-Lift Weight Distribution System

Question:

Just purchased a 2022 Chevy 2500HD 2-1/2inch shank to replace my 2012 Toyota Sequoia 2inch shank for pulling my 31foot travel trailer. I am using a EAZ-Lift weight distribution hitch that I have moved to the lowest level and it is still about an 1-1/2inch high. Can I use the EQ90-02-4800 on my hitch is the down portion 2inch wide? and do you think this will give me the extra 1-1/2inch that I need.

Thanks for the picture! The Equal-i-zer 2-1/2" Weight Distribution Shank item # EQ90-02-4800 that you referenced has 3/4" holes that are spaced 1-1/4" apart. If the head of your EAZ-Lift system has the same spacing then this shank would work well for you. The portion of the shank that connects to your weight distribution system does narrow down from the 2-1/2" portion that fits in your receiver.

Nearly all WD system use the same hole dimensions. We have found that almost all brands can use each others shanks. I have linked a diagram below that will show you the overall length so you can confirm there is enough drop to work with your new truck.
