Weight Distribution Shank for 2018 Ram 2500 that Can Provide 3 inches of Drop
Question:
I have a 2018 Dodge Ram 2500. I have a 10000lb e2 hitch and the standard shank is not long enough, Im going from a 99 F350 to this dodge. Top of truck receiver is 25inch and the bottom of trailer coupler is 22. Will this be enough for this setup? Also, what receiver lock would you recommend, my old is not long enough?

Based on what you described you need a weight distribution shank that can do 3 inches of drop. The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4800 can provide up to 4 inches of drop and would work well for your new truck that has a 2-1/2 inch hitch.
