Recommended Weight Distribution System for Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf 26DBH
Question:
I have a 2018 Navigator and i pull a 2021 cherokee Gray Wolf 26DBH-L 32 i am dissapointed with Lincoln that they did not put air bags in this truck. My navigator has the factory installed Tow Package and this works TERRIFIC! I have mischeline tires that are the highest rated beofre the steel bands enter into the picture which means that when not pulling the trailer my truck rides nice. However since i have 8500 pounds loaded in my trailer it is a bit heavy for the electronic shocks in my truck. Some one mentioned that i might be able to get an adapter kit for the elctronic shocks so i can regulate the amount of load my truck can handle. Is this a possibility and is it a good possibility. I like my ride when not pulling the trailer. I do not like my ride when pulling the trailer. On good roads it does fine but on slightly bad roads it does not so fine. Windy days as we just experienced when coming back to MN from FL it was all over the road. What is my best solution to improve my truck performance when pulling my RV. Welove both the truck and trailer. looking for a solution. Thank you.

A weight distribution system will be the best option we can offer to help improve stability while towing. These systems not only help better distribute the weight of the trailer across the vehicle so you don't have issues with braking or body roll but they also help keep the trailer in a straight line. The one I recommend for a Forest River Cherokee Grey Wolf 26DBH is the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System part # C17500 which has both weight distributing properties and sway control. It's a bolt-on system which requires no drilling.
