Trailer Hitch Receiver For Carrying A Bike Rack With a 2022 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk
Question:
Do they make an aftermarket trailer hitch for my 2022 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk? I'm looking to carry my bikes on a carrier so I don't have to try and lift them on a roof rack.

Yes, Draw-Tite makes the Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT28MR that is custom fit for your 2022 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. This receiver will allow you to carry your bikes behind your Jeep. It has a 2" receiver that has a maximum tongue weight rating of 675lbs. Be sure to verify with your Jeep dealer your specific capacities and do not exceed the lower of the numbers.
I do recommend installing the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56406 with the Mounting Bracket # 18144. This will allow you to use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 in the event your bikes impair the view of your taillights.
The Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # NV22B will allow you to carry 2 bikes up to 60lbs each. It only weighs 52lbs making it very easy to install and remove when you are not using it. A built in bike repair stand will make performing maintenance on your bike easier both at home or when you are away.
