Which Hitch is Better for a 2022 Honda CR-V the Draw-Tite or the etrailer?
Question:
I am looking at your etrailer e98848 hitch and your Draw-Tite DT79MR. Which hitch is going to be better for my 2022 Honda CR-V?

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # DT79MR and the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver item # e98848 are nearly identical hitches. They both have a 3,500 lbs maximum towing capacity and a 525 lbs tongue weight limit. The main difference is going to be the finish. The Draw-Tite has a glossy finish whereas the etrailer has a more durable matte powder coated finish. I recommend going with the most cost effective hitch.
If you need a wiring harness to control your trailers lighting functions you will want the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # 118741.
To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
