Comparing 2 inch Trailer Hitches for a 2018 Honda CR-V
Question:
what is the difference between the Draw-Tite and Curt and etrailer hitches for a 2018 CR-V

Expert Reply:
The biggest difference between the Draw-Tite # 76128, Curt # C13397, and etrailer # e98848 trailer hitches for your 2018 Honda CR-V is that the Draw-Tite has a visible cross tube once installed while the Curt and etrailer have a "hidden" design where only the receiver is visible (see comparison photo).
The Curt and etrailer hitches have the exact same design and will install the same way but I recommend going with the etrailer hitch over the Curt option because it has a matte black finish that will hide scratches better than the glossy finish of the Curt hitch.
If you have the Touring with the hands-free liftgate then you will want to go with the Draw-Tite option instead as the hidden cross tube actually blocks the sensors from working correctly.
They don't all have the same weight ratings but since it looks like your max towing capacity is about 1,500 lbs (check your owner's manual to verify) this isn't crucial to your decision as they all exceed this which makes your CR-V the limiting factor.
