High-Low Adapter for Flat Towing a Vehicle and Carrying a Bike Rack at the Same Time
Question:
It seems the 2inch might be too close for the receiver with the ball for a tow dolly and then the bike rack above. With that configuration would the 4inch be better for spacing? Then the concern is how low does the 4inch make the tow dolly to the ground while driving? Thanks for your in put

A lot depends on the tow bar you are using, the hitch height, and the vehicle being flat towed. The 2 inch drop on # RM-077-2 would be fine if you are using a tow bar that has a shank that fits into a receiver rather than the type that has a coupler which would be more likely to interfere.
The 4 inch drop, # RM-077-4, does have better clearance but like you said that will change the angle of the tow bar. You will want the tow bar to be as level as possible. Each tow bar has a little bit of a range in terms of the angle it can be. If you can tell me the tow bar you have I might be able to figure it out and then you can determine if using the 4 inch drop adapter will work or not.
