Extended WDS Shank For A Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System

Question:

I have a e2 FA94-00-1000 weight distribution hitch. I recently purchased and installed your LC270682 trailer lift kit. The trailer now rides 3-1/2 inches higher and the trailer is nose down. So I need more rise. Another problem with the e2 existing shank is that I cant the tailgate of my F150 truck with the trailer is attached because it hits the electric jack. An extended horizontal shank would fix this problem. But, the new shank cant be so tall that it hits the tailgate. It looks like your EQ90-02-4500 or your EQ90-02-4600 would give me both an extended horizontal length to fix tailgate problem and more rise to fix the trailer nose down problem. - EQ90-02-4500, 14inch center to center hitch pin to adj holes, 7inch rise, 3inch - EQ90-02-4600, 14inch center to center hitch pin to adj holes, 8inch rise, 4inch There is a significant price difference between these 2 items. The rise/ specs are different. Yet, the on-line product images seem to have identical dimensions. So, I have 2 questions: - Will either of these shanks be compatible with the e2 FA94-00-1000 hitch? - The 2 shanks quote different rise/s. Are the on-line product images with dimensions correct for both? Thanks,

Yes, both the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4600 and the Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4500 will both work for your Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA94-00-1000.

Both of these shanks are 18" long, and 9-1/2" tall, and have a maximum tongue weight capacity of 600-1,400-lbs.

The only difference being, is that # EQ90-02-4600 has a 8" rise, and 4" drop, and, # EQ90-02-4500 has a maximum rise of 7", and a drop of 3".
