I found it easier to install 2 of the bolts in opposite direction 1 so I didn’t have to cut wiring cover on drivers side and 1 on right side because it was binding up when putting into hole in vehicle. Overall really nice hitch.
I was going to purchase, and have installed, a receiver hitch locally for my 2020 Hyundai Palisade but could not find a shop that could do it in time for a weekend trip. So, I decided I would purchase this unit from etrailer.com and do the installation myself. I received the unit within a few days which was great. I watched the installation video ahead of time to familiarize myself with the installation process.
I must say that it was super easy, and the directions were spot on. The entire install took me less than an hour. It would be helpful to have two people when it comes time to lift the receiver into place, but I managed to do it myself. Tools needed are a ratch or open-end wrench, plastic prybar or screwdriver, and a rubber mallet.
The receiver is solid and looks great. Clearance seems the same and I have not scraped the bottom of the receiver or anything hitched to it on anything so far. I have a steep street entrance apron and have not had any problems. I mount a 4-bike platform rack on it and it goes in easy and feels solid in the receiver.
Very happy with this product and the purchase process.

One year later and still happy with this hitch. No issues at all. I use this hitch weekly for bike racks and haul a trailer once a month. The hitch has worked fine.
worked great and installed myself with only a few tools. allowed us to transport bikes on our existing hitch carrier after a new vehicle came without an installed hitch
I have purchased multiple hitches over the past several years from etrailer for various cars. I just installed a hitch for my new 2024 Palisade without any help (it only took 90 minutes and I am definitely not a mechanic with a huge cabinet of tools and experience). Good pricing, all high quality only products, quick delivery, and super helpful installation instructions and videos. I wish more companies today were like etrailer. Reliably good company for all the car equipment you will need to carry kids' bikes and winter sports gear.

One note on the install though. If you put the driver's side bolts through outboard to inboard, you don't have to cut the plastic cover or bolt cover.
Extremely fast shipping. Ordered Thursday night, on my door step Saturday afternoon with free shipping. Every hitch I have ordered from etrailer has fit perfectly and had great installation instructions and videos to help with tips on how to install the hitch in tight spaces.
As many people have probably figured out with the 2023 Palisade there is not currently available the hidden behind the panel hitch. I could not wait until Hyundai figures themselves out for a tow hitch so I went ahead with this one. It is an excellent quality hitch. I installed it by myself. A FEW TIPS: don't put bolts thru without the washers like in the video as this just adds extra steps, just put them on when you put it in place originally. You also dont have to take the furthest forward muffler holder off. Do yourself a favor and jack up the back end of it to torque the bolts and make sure you have a 19 mm box wrench because you have to have one due to space issues. Other than that it's extremely straight forward.
As far as etrailer goes: I purchased my last hitch for my previous vehicle on [online] due to price a few years ago. This time I ordered on [online] instinctively then checked etrailer and immediately cancelled my [online] order and ordered from here. The hitch was cheaper shipped with tax than the base price on [online]. There are many positives during the experience (they called within 10 minutes of me submitting my order to verify my address and email. It was purchased on the 17th and arrived on the 19th. BUT what really set them apart is the last hitch I got from [online] was just wrapped in shrink wrap and was dented and dinged horrendously, to the point where I had to hammer a portion straight for holes to line up. etrailer sent it in a hefty box, and it was secured 360 and was in perfect condition when it arrived. Their install videos are also top notch. Great experience, will buy from here going forward.
I reversed some of the 12mm bolt directions and didn't need to trim the exhaust shield on one side or the plastic panel on the other. Great product. Clean install. Fit perfectly on 2023 Palisade Calligraphy. Love that it doesn't have the tubes showing from underneath like most hitches I've seen on Palisades.
Excellent product. Hitch fits perfectly and hardware is the correct size. Only comment is that the written instructions say that the largest wrench you will need is 19mm. The through-bolts have a 19mm head but have a 21mm nut. I think the video may mention this. I would recommend this product to anyone.
We installed the CURT C13427 Hitch and CURT CU94FR Wiring Harness in my 2020 Hyundai Palisade. The hitch is very heavy. It takes two people to position it and put the first bolts in. Once you've got one in on each side, the rest is easy. The supplied parts were high quality and fit perfectly. The video showing how to do it on the Palisade was very good, but so too were the written instructions.
The CURT Wiring Harness was also easy to install and came with good instructions. The only thing I did different was wrap the 4 wires leading from the circuit box to the trailer plug in spiral harness wire wrap. I didn't like seeing those wires out and somewhat exposed.
I've seen the Hyundai / KIA factory towing packages. I think this combination from CURT and eTrailer is every bit as good if not better. And it cost a lot less than buying through Hyundai.

One year later Im still VERY happy with this hitch and harness.
Installed on a '24 Palisade XRT. Followed guidance of the video and install went smooth. Took less than 2 hours with vehicle on the ground. I even managed to get the weldment in place by myself. I did flip 1 bolt to avoid cutting the yellow protector but otherwise everything fit fine.
Everything fit. Great video for home installation. Looks like good quality but time will tell. A little rust spot forming from hitch area
The technicians at the installation shop were so impressed with the Curt trailer hitch receiver. It was a quick and simple install, nothing but praise on how straight forward it bolted onto our Palisade. Their hardest part of the install was dealing with the spare tire (lol). Highly recommend this product.
Absolutely impressed with e-trailer’s fast shipping and customer service. And, the system they use to show how your order is progressing through the shipping maze. Best ever, really!! The CURT hitch went on without a hitch! Many others have left tips for how to install on the 2022 Palisade. I just installed on a 2023 Palisade with no issues. The one surprise on my Palisade was that there was no trailer lights module. Or, they have moved it somewhere else as compared to where it is on the 2022 (based on some e-trailer user photos). Still, a best-in-class experience with etrailer. Well done!!

The hitch is really good quality. It wasn't that difficult to put on especially after watching the videos. My order from trailer was packed excellent to prevent shipping damage and arrived on time.
Have not it had the opportunity to install the hitch yet but the delivery was very fast and it arrived in great condition. I have received hitch’s from trailer in the past and have all expectations that the unit will go in quickly and look great. Considering it is close to Christmas they did a great job filling and delivering the order. Well done!!
Very satisfied with product information, the ordering process, delivery time, and packaging. One thing you could consider doing is supplementing installation instruction's with a level of difficulty “for each step” - this could leverage your company over competitors. Some of the installation steps were very easy, done moderate and some hard. Had i known to expect such difficulty with certain parts of the installation I would have paced myself differently and better estimated the completion time.

It was fairly easy to install. The factory installed heat shield for exhaust made it difficult to install the passenger side top bolts/washers. Had to use a long punch to tap the bolts thru and had to pry the heat shield up to get a socket wrench on the bolts.
I got this for our 2021 Palisade. This looks way better than the factory hitch. They even have a massive recall on the factory hitch system. I will be buying another for our Toyota! Highly recommend!
This hitch looks miles better on our Palisade then the factory version from Hyundai. The receiver is all that hangs below the bumper, which affords a clean look. I wanted 7pin wiring, so I ordered the T-one wiring harness (118784), curt 4 to 7 pin adapter (C57672), and the curt long mounting bracket (C57202). I made a 90 degree bend in the mounting bracket 1.5 inches from the end and mounted it vertically off the hitch. This resulted in a factory look with 7 pin wiring. The vehicle is equipped with a wiring harness capped behind the rear bumper cover behind the left rear wheel. There is full 12v trailer power, ground, left turn, right turn, brake, running lights, and and extra wire that I assume is reverse lights. The t-one harness used all but the extra wire, so I was able to tap into the wires in the t-one harness for power and ground on the 7 pin. I didn’t have to touch any wires on the vehicle prior to the harness. Install was easy, besides the required bend in the wiring mounting bracket.
Great instructions! Went on as-described. Holding bolts in-place while tightening/torquing was a little challenging, but doable with patience. Same with putting bottom plastic cover back on - bolts want to push it out of place - patience and a little pushing were required.

This trailer hitch is exactly what u was looking for for my Palidade. The quality and price is absolutely a no brainer. I almost spend a fortune on OEM before I found Curt class III for my Palisade. Installation was also a breeze after watching the video. Everything fits perfectly and the only thing visible is the 2" tube. I am completely satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend this trailer hitch to all Huyndai Palisade owners.
