Recommended Air Helper Springs for 2007 Chevrolet Silverado New Body
Question:
While listening to a video on YouTube about helper air bags, I heard the person mention that with some air bags they must be disconnected if the truck is put on a lift. I also think the person said that with the Firestone bags the truck can be lifted without disconnecting. I am considering going with the helper bags, but would like this information before I make a choice on brand.

That is an accurate statement for many air suspension systems/helper springs, but not for the Double Convoluted Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs. For a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite, # F2430. The Ride-Rite air springs are designed to give you maximum load support and enhance the performance and ride comfort of your vehicle. The rubber springs provide cushioning between your suspension components and operate at up to 100 psi.
Please take a look at the linked product review and installation vide below of these being installed on a 2007 Chevy 1500 New Body Style.
