What I think you are asking is, will you need a slide type hitch for the 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty with the short bed, 6-3/4' length that has the OEM Prep Package (puck system) when towing a 5th wheel RV. The short answer is no you do not have to use a slide type hitch. But you do need to have something in play that prevents contact between the cab of tow vehicle and the nose of the 5th wheel when in a turn.

This clearance distance is not an issue with typical 5th wheel RV's and tow vehicles with an 8 foot bed using a "fixed" hitch. When you have a shorter bed however, this can be an issue and often is. Two options, use a slide-type hitch or a rotating pin box on the 5the wheel RV. I have a help article linked below on the sidewinder pin box.

For your 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty with the short bed and OEM Prep Package (puck system) I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package, # BWRVK3370. The 1" thick jaw on the Companion is precision machined to provide a tight, sturdy connection. And unlike slide-bar models, the rounded 2-piece jaw on this fifth-wheel trailer hitch inhibits rattle and movement by securely wrapping around your trailer's king pin, resulting in easier hookup and a safer, quieter ride.

If you prefer a fixed position hitch and go with a rotating pin box, the # BWRVK3305 is the same B&W Companion hitch without the slide feature.
