Trailer Tongue Adjustable Channel Recommendation for Heavy Duty Trailer

Question:

Hello, I have an older trailer with a 4 straight tongue that uses a worn out clevis pin to pull it. Id like to update it to a ball coupler, but I dont see any bolt / weld on options for 4 channel. Is there a product for this? Thanks,

For your application we need to get you a whole new channel welded on your trailer tongue since you are correct in that there aren't any 4" channels.

I recommend the Demco Trailer Coupler w/ 5-Position Adjustable Channel # DM612466-95 since it comes with everything you need save the welder and welding materials. The eZ-Latch coupler allows you to hitch up to your trailer without having to mess with the latch first and then this heavy-duty 20K setup fits a 2-5/16" hitch ball and is made in the USA.
