Hanger Spacing With Equalizer Kit # K71-359-00 with 25-1/4 inch Leaf Springs

What is the correct hanger placement when installing 25 1/4inch springs on a tandem axle trailer. Part# sp 218275. Center to center. I didnt see a diagram that fit those leaf springs. Just making sure before I weld. Thank you,

When using the equalizer kit part # K71-359-00 with leaf springs that measure 25-1/4 inches long like the part # e28SR the hanger spacing you'd want to use is 29-1/2 inches.

The center hanger on tandem axle trailer is pretty commonly taller than the other hangers as the shackle straps and equalizers push the final height of the end of the spring up higher. Basically the longer hanger compensates for the shackle straps so…

The bolts that come with the Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit #K71-359-00 are Grade 5 bolts. Grade 5 bolts have 3 "tick" marks on their head which is what these bolts have.
