Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2 Inch Hitches that is Compatible w/ a Fastway E2 System
Question:
I just bought a 2018 Ram 2500 it sets a lot taller than the Ford 150 . 1. I need a shank for the Fastway E2 12,000 lb but the Ram has a 2 1/2 “hitch receiver and didn’t see any . 2 . If the Fastway E2 has a 2” if I find a 2 1/2 shank will it fit in the Fastway E2 head?

I found a shank that will work perfectly with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control item # FA92-00-1200. It will also give you quite a bit of drop since your 2018 Ram 2500 sits so much taller than your old truck did. It is the Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches item # C17132. This shank is compatible with your Fastway system and it will provide you with up to 9-1/4" of drop. I have attached a diagram I made that will show you the dimensions of the Curt Shank.
