Will Fastway e2 1,000 lb Tongue Weight WD System Work with Trailer with 780 lb TW
Question:
Hello, I’m looking at getting a weight distribution hitch for a camper I might by but now I’m wondering if the camper is to much even with the distribution hitch, I have a 2021 Silverado rst with the 3.0 diesel in it, the cargo capacity on the door is 1700, max tow capacity 9100 lbs. The camper I’m looking at has 780lb dry hitch weight and 5800 Uvw rating. I was thinking getting a 1000lb hitch weight distribution but now I’m unsure. I also have airlift air bags in the truck.

Your truck definitely has the towing capacity for your trailer so in that regard you are good. For a tongue weight of 780 lbs a system with a 1,000 lb tongue weight rating like the Fastway e2 part # FA92-00-1000 would work great. Your tongue weight falls right into it's range well and it would work fine with the air bags too.
