I recommend the Fastway e2 systems for a good quality yet inexpensive weight distribution system. It installs easily by clamping to your trailer's frame with no drilling. There's also no chains to worry about when adjusting.

To determine which system is right for you find your trailer's loaded tongue weight and add that to the amount of weight you add behind the rear axle of your Tahoe. You want this figure to be within the range of the weight distribution system. If you find you're under 1,000 pounds you can go with part # FA92-00-1000 which is rated from 600 to 1,000 pounds of tongue weight. If you're over the limit, or even pushing it, you can upgrade to the 1,200 pound e2, part # FA92-00-1200. Its range is from 800 to 1,200 pounds of tongue weight.

Neither system includes the hitch ball so use part # 63840 for a compatible 2-5/16 inch ball.
