Ball Mount, Ball, and Hitch Pin to Use with Curt Hitch that Fits 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
Hello Etrailer, For a 2018 Subaru Outback with a Curt C13410 hitch, what do you recommend for the following: Ball Mount, Ball, and Hitch and Pin?

When we had the Curt hitch # C13410 installed on a similar 2018 Subaru Outback Wagon as yours we found that from the top of the hitch opening down to the ground measured 15-1/2 inches. Since most trailer that your vehicle would tow would have a coupler height a couple inches shorter than that I would go with the Draw Tite ball mount part # DT49MR which has a 2 inch drop. This comes with a 2 inch ball which is a very common as well as a pin and clip to secure it.
