Difference Between TorkLift Rear Camper Tie-Downs TLD3109 & TLD3109A For 2015 Ram 2500
Question:
Good afternoon, I want to know if the difference between these two options is only the type of material. Screw hole spaces are different in TLD3109 Vs. TLD 3109A? Will either fit my 2015 Ram Laramie Crew Cab?

You are correct; the only difference between the two camper tie-downs is indeed how they are constructed; otherwise there is not a difference. One is made of aluminum and the other is powder-coated steel:
- Aluminum: TorkLift Talon Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Aluminum - Rear # TLD3109A
- Steel: TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear # TLD3109
The aluminum is the more premium option because their aluminum construction means they are not going to rust, which is something that, over a long enough period of time, can happen with steel, even with the powder coat. So if you plan to keep your current truck for some time, investing in the aluminum is worth it, but if you plan on switching trucks, then the steel tie-downs are probably the better choice.
Both will fit your 2015 Ram 2500 so long as it has the factory hitch (or no hitch); if you have something different, just let me know and I can find the right part for you.
