Tow Bar Recommendation for etrailer Base Plate Kit on 2021 Ram 1500 Classic

I like the e98945 for my 2021 Ram 1500 Classic Tradesman. What tow bar do I need for this kit?

The tow bar that I recommend using with the etrailer Classic Base Plate Kit # e98945 on your 2021 Ram 1500 Classic is the etrailer XHD Tow Bar # e94ZR because it has a higher weight capacity at 10,500 lbs over the 6,000 lb rating of the etrailer SD Tow Bar # e34ZR. Technically the 6K tow bar will be sufficient for your truck, but from what I was seeing online your truck can weigh up to about 5,300 lbs without anything in it so I like to have a higher weight margin.
To finish out your towing system I recommend picking up the Roadmaster Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267 and then the Air Force One # DM26VR or the Stay-IN-Play DUO # DM86VR braking system depending on if your motorhome has air or hydraulic brakes, respectively. I really like the Roadmaster kit because it's been proven to be a solid and reliable choice over the years. The braking systems are a one-time install and are very easy to set up when you need to utilize them.
Since your truck sits higher you'll likely also need a high-low adapter. I'm attaching a helpful article and our selection of adapters for you to filter through.
