Ground Clearance of Hitch for 2021 Toyota Avalon
Question:
I need a hitch for my 2021 Toyota Avalon. The hitch I had on my old car kept scraping the street when I backed out of the driveway, so I'd like something with the most possible ground clearance, if that's an option.

The Curt hitch # C11576 will provide 11 inches greater ground clearance from the top of the hitch opening to the ground. This Curt hitch has the crossbar concealed behind the vehicle's bumper with only the receiver tube and safety chain loops being visible.
Because of its more concealed appearance, I really like the Curt # C11576 hitch for the Camry. If you'll be doing some light duty towing with the hitch, you'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118798, a ball mount like # C45521 and a trailer ball like # 19256 for a 1-7/8 or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball. If you will be carrying bikes with your hitch, you will be limited to 2 bikes and will need a stabilizer strap # 18050.
