How Much Can a 2016 Cadillac SRX FWD 3.6L Tow
Question:
Can this vehicle safely handle a 3000# Trailer? Trailer is a Wolf Pup 16FQ Model. I would need to install Trans Cooler to reach 3500# rating on car. What hitch would I need

Expert Reply:
The towing capacity of a 2016 Cadillac SRX FWD 3.6L is 2,500 lbs for models without the factory tow package or 3,500 lbs for models with the factory tow package. Adding the towing components aftermarket won't increase towing capacity in their eyes but we do still have everything you need to get setup and I have attached this below.
