I want to put a hitch on my 2021 Toyota Highlander but do not want to lose the use of the kick sensor for the liftgate. Do you have a hitch that I can use?

We were able to still use the lift gate kick sensor on a 2021 Toyota Highlander with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e75ZR. We tested this after performing the install in our shop the lift gate still worked. I have linked an installation video for you.

You will likely also need a vehicle wiring harness as well for your Highlander. We have the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK99FR which will give you a 4-way flat connector for use with small trailers and Auxiliary Lights # C53201. The 4-way Mounting Bracket # 18144 will allow you to secure the wiring to the mounting tab welded to the receiver cross tube.

We also have the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter # TK57VR that can be used for towing larger trailers that will require an electric Brake Controller # 90195 or a charge line circuit for charging trailer batteries. The 7-way Mounting Bracket # PK12711U will allow you to attach the connector to the welded tab on the receiver cross tube.
