I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C34ER as being the best receiver available for your 2022 Kia Sorento. This receiver has concealed cross tube which gives it a cleaner look on the back of your Sorento. The class III, 2" receiver will allow for you to use a wider range of accessories and ball mounts depending on what you plan to use the receiver for. The maximum tongue weight rating is 600lbs with a maximum trailer rating of 4,000lbs. Be sure to not exceed any ratings given by Kia for your particular Sorento.
The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK26FR will give you the 4-way connector that is need for towing most small trailers as well as using Auxiliary Lights # C53201 with a hitch mounted accessory that may impair the view of your tail lights when in use. This will ensure you remain legal and that other drivers cannot say that your brake lights or turn signals were not visible. I recommend using the Mounting Brackets # 18144 and # 18140 to secure the 4-way connector to your receiver so that you do not have to worry about it dragging on the ground or having to tuck it away. The mounting brackets also require no drilling to install on your receiver.
