I take it that your Lance camper overhangs the truck bed so you need an extension of some kind. There are a couple of possible solutions. Many extensions will reduce the tongue weight capacity of a trailer hitch by 50 percent. However, if you were to use a long ball mount, the capacity is not nearly as affected.
A ball mount like # BM20 measures 13-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. I have linked a video review for you. I have also linked all of the super extra long ball mounts we carry.
The next option would be to use an extension but like I was saying it will reduce the tongue weight capacity by 50 percent. If the reduced tongue weight capacity is still high enough for your trailers tongue weight then this is a viable option. The longest option we have is 18 inches, like # RP11006, and it also has a step.
And finally, if you were to install a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch on the truck, you could use Titan extension # RP45292 (24 to 34 inches long) With a 2-1//2 inch receiver and this extension, the tongue weight capacity is NOT reduced because of how robust a 2-1/2 inch hitch is made.
If you wanted to go with the last option I would need to know the year of your truck and anything else you can tell me about the cab style and drive train.
