Will The etrailer.com e93ZR Hitch Make My 2021 Nissan Rogue Lose The Hands Free Lift Gate Feature
Question:
I'm looking at installing the e93ZR hitch on my 2021 Nissan Rogue, but I really like the hands free lift gate feature and do not want to lose it. Will adding this hitch negate this feature, and if so, is there a better hitch that will keep it. Please help. I will be towing a small trailer with 4 kayaks on it, so I could also use a wiring recommendation as well.

Though all the hitches available for your 2021 Nissan Rogue will interfere with the function of the hands free lift gate, it will definitely not cause it to be completely lost. All you will need to do after installing the etrailer Custom Fit Class III Hitch # e93ZR, is put your foot on either side of the receiver tube, and it will work normally. You will just need to find that sweet spot. I included an install video we did on a 2021 Rogue for you to check out as well.
As to the wiring, I recommend going with the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat # TK76FR. This will be a plug and play system, but you will need to run one wire up to the batter for needed power and will get all the lights working on your trailer.
