What gauge cables are required for this to hook to the batteries?

Since the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger # PD914024ALV is rated for 40 amps you could use 10 gauge wire for shorter runs like part # 10-1-1 (sold by foot), but if you have a longer length requirement you'd want to go with 8 gauge which we don't offer at this time.

The Progressive Dynamics Replacement Section #PD4655V does have a jumper to change the charging profile to lithium compatible. You'll simply need to move the black jumper over from the WIZ side to the LI side.
