Take a look at Kenda K353 tire # AM10062. This is a 4.80-12 trailer tire, load range C, rated for 990 pounds at 90 psi. This tire has a 6 ply rating. The tires we carry, unless otherwise stated on the tire itself, are rated for 65 miles per hour.

One important tid bit of information that you should find helpful is that trailer tires should always be inflated to the maximum psi as indicated on the tire, in this case 90 psi. This is because trailer tires are made with a thicker sidewall and when under inflated that thicker sidewall can generate excessive heat.

For the same tire mounted on a steel wheel with 4 on 4 bolt pattern use # AM30620.

Also you will want to keep in mind that going to a higher capacity tire does not increase the capacity of the trailer. That capacity remains the same regardless of what tires are on the trailer. I have included a link to our FAQ article on trailer tires for you.
