For a great economic option that still gives you all the weight capacity you need to get the job done, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # DT73RR. This hitch provides your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon with 675 pounds of maximum tongue weight as well as 4,500 pounds of maximum gross towing capacity. To make sure that your vehicle can accommodate this much weight, I strongly recommend confirming your vehicle's weight capacity rating with your owner's manual. The Draw-Tite also provides 16 inches of ground clearance and the opening sits 6 inches from the face of your rear bumper. As far as installation, the hitch comes with all hardware required for an easy bolt-on installation. If you need a pin and clip for your receiver, that part is the Pin and Clip for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches - 5/8" Diameter # PC3.
