How hard is it to install the etrailer trailer hitch e75zr on my 2021 Toyota highlander?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e75ZR you were looking at for your 2021 Toyota Highlander is pretty straightforward to install and will only require trimming of the under body panel if you choose to reinstall it.
The hitch has three bolts on each side that secure to the vehicle and if you go the route of not reinstalling the underbody panel then you will just need a ratcheting wrench, a torque wrench, a 10mm, 12mm, 17mm, and 19mm socket, a 6" extension, flat headed screw driver, and safety glasses. You will just want to allot yourself enough time to get this done so you do not get into a rush, but this is something you can definitely do in your driveway or garage.
If you are planning on using your trailer hitch to tow a trailer you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # TK99FR, and a ball mount, hitch ball, and hitch pin and clip # 989900.
