Recommended Hitch Set-Up for a 2018 Acura RDX
Question:
Does the hitch come with all the parts needed for installation?

The Draw-Tite # 75784 will include all the hardware needed to get installed. This will require no drilling or trimming to get installed and will bolt directly to the frame of your 2018 Acura RDX. From here there will be a few parts needed depending on what you will be using the hitch for.
If you will be towing, you will need a ball mount, ball, and pin/clip to hold them in place. Something like the Draw-Tite Ball Mount w/ 2" Ball for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop # DT49MR will include all these things, but you will need to make sure the rise/drop will work with your trailer. You will also need wiring to complete a towing set up and the Curt # 56008 will be a plug and play option for this, making it quick and easy to install. One potential add on for the towing set up will be the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144. This will attach directly to a tab welded onto the # 75784 and make for a cleaner look.
If you were planning on using the hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier, you will most likely just need a pin and clip, like the # PC3. A lot of bike racks and other accessories will already have these included, but they are kind of small and easy to misplace so I like to have an extra in the vehicle if ever needed.
