Hello on this product it clearly states mounting kit comes with it.. Im just checking to make sure nothing additional need to be purchased to mount this product on 2001 Chevy Tahoe

You are correct. The Westin Sure-Grip running boards, # 27-6130-1035, does come with the installation kit that is a custom fit for your 2001 Chevy Tahoe. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view.

You will not need to add anything else for the installation but you may be interested in some accessories. You could use the gap strip # 27-9907 which covers up the little bit of space between the vehicle and the running board to provide a custom look. We also have lights that you can add, # 27-6000 that will light up when you open the Tahoes door.
