13 inch Trailer Tire and Wheel Higher Speed Rating 2021 Flagstaff 176 LTD

Question:

This trailer came with 12” wheels and tires, can I go up to a 13 or 14” wheels and tires and have no clearance problems, what do you recommend. I want the 8 ply and the best tires and at least 80mph speed rated. I also want either a chrome or an aluminum wheel that really looks nice. Thanks,

To go from a 12 inch trailer wheel to a 13 is going to increase the overall diameter about 3-4 inches depending on what size you have now. This would eat about 1.5 to 2 inches of fender clearance so you'd have to keep that in mind.

So for a 13 inch trailer wheel and tire combo that is aluminum with a higher speed rating we have the Karrier part # AM32001HWTB in the size of ST175/80R13.
