How to Get 12 Volts of Power Run to a 7 Way on a 2020 Jayco Alante
Question:
I recently purchased a Blue Ox baseplate and tow bar to flat tow a 2013 Honda CRV behind my 2020 Jayco Alante 27A with a 2019 F53 Chassis. I have proper readings on the left and right turn signals, the tail lights and ground. I do not have 12VDC. How do I get 12VDC to power a battery tender for the toad? Thank you

If you do not have 12 volts of power at the rear of your Jayco Alante 27A, you will need to run power to the black wire of something like the Hopkins Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185, or the 2 o'clock port. This should be done with the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Motorhomes # RM-156-75, which includes an in-line circuit breaker.
If you also need to get power to the battery tender on your 2013 Honda CRV, the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-156-25 will get the job done very nicely.
