Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring Harness For a 2015 VW Passat

Will this hitch fit a 2015 vw passat? I’m very interested in this particular one due to the fact that it’s removable.

There is a EcoHitch Receiver available for your 2015 Volkswagen Passat, but it is not a stealth design like the EcoHitch Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7375 that only fits the 2018 - 2019 Volkswagen e-Golf and 2018 - 2021 Volkswagen Golf GTI models. Currently there are no stealth style receivers that I can find for your Passat.
For your Passat the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7317 is custom fit and features the 2" receiver. The receiver will mount behind the bumper bar which does involve removing the rear bumper cover to access. I have linked an installation video below for this receiver.
I recommend installing a Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118646 at the same time you install the receiver. It will be much easier to run the wiring while you have the rear bumper cover removed. This will give you a 4-way flat connector on your Passat that you can use when towing small trailers to operate the trailer tail lights. Also, when using a bike rack or cargo carrier you can use Auxiliary Lights # C53201 as the tail lights on your Passat will be impaired from your cargo.
