Recommended 26 Upgraded Leaf Springs for 3,500 Lb Axle

Question:

I am looking at replacing my 4 leaf X 26inch leaf springs with a heavy version as my current springs have very little arch in them. On your site I see a 6 leaf 6000 lb version at 26inch eye centers which seems a little stiff for my 3500 lb trailer. Any options or suggestions? Thanks

The 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,500-lb Trailer Axles part # e27SR will be a nice upgrade option for a 3,500 lb axle. They are rated at 4,500 lbs for the set which is enough to provide additional support but should not be too stiff. They are designed to replace 26" long leaf springs (eye to eye).

Please note, not all leaves are the same thickness therefore the number of leaves is not relevant for replacement in most cases. I.e. there could be two different 4-leaf springs with different capacities.
