After confirming with Curt, their Class IV 2 inch trailer receiver # C14002 does not interfere with the accessibility of the spare tire. However, they do recommend removing the spare tire for the installation process, and then replacing once installation is complete.
Please note that this hitch does not include a ball mount, trailer ball, pin and clip, or wiring. Depending on your exact towing needs I would suggest the following parts that are compatible with your 2011 Ford F-150:
Ball Mount - Draw-Tite Ball mount # 40202.
Trailer ball mount # A90 - 2 inch diameter hitch ball, or if you need a 2-5/16 trailer ball I would suggest # C40030.
Pin and Clip - Curt Pin and Clip for Class III, IV, and V Trailer Hitch Receivers # C21500.
Wiring Harness - If your truck does not already have trailer wiring I would use # 18252.
Please check your owners manual and make sure that your truck is capable of towing and using a type IV trailer hitch. Also keep in mind that this trailer hitch does not increase the towing capacity of your truck. Your towing capacity will be limited to the lowest rated item in your towing package.
I have included links to the parts listed above, some helpful articles, installation instructions, and a video.
