Recommended Converter For A Park Model Camper With iRV35 RV Stereo System
Question:
I would like to install this radio in my park model camper which is 110v system. There is no 12 volt. I know I can get a 110v to 12v converter to power this, but I don’t know what size to get as there are many different wattages and amps. Can you give me any info as to what size I need, so that I don’t burn up the radio. The one I have in there now is 110v and needs to be replaced, but no longer available. This radio would fit the opening that I have and be an upgrade. Thank you for any help you can give me.

To convert your 110v AC power to 12v DC power you can install the Go Power RV Converter and Smart Battery Charger - 12V - 45 Amp # 34266168. This will provide continuous power to your DC breaker panel to run 12V loads while also charging your battery. It works with lead acid and AGM batteries.
If you don't have a DC distribution panel you can instead install the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger - 45 Amp # PD4045KA. This converter has 7 AC branch circuits rated at 30amps and two 30amp DC fuses and ten 20amp DC fuses to distribute power to all of your camper's electronics/appliances. It works with lithium-ion, flooded lead acid, AGM, and gel batteries and has a high voltage output which provides a full, quick charge for your lithium batteries or a Charge Wizard which monitors lead acid batteries and automatically begins charging when needed.
