Does Redarc Tow-Pro Elite For 2004 Dodge Ram With Factory 7-Way Need Added Fuse

The instructions for this brake controller call for a 25A fuse. I’m installing on a 2004 Dodge Ram using the Tekonsha 3020-s. The factory trailer brake harness notes that it is 15A maximum. Will this cause any issues? Will 15A be sufficient to run the brake controller? Thank you

That's a good question, but you will not need any added fuses and what you have with your 2004 Dodge Ram will be sufficient with the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR and Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter # 3020-S.
I was able to look up some service manuals, and found that the fuse box in the engine compartment is properly fused for the electric brake provision in your truck.
