Weight Distribution for 2015 Nissan Pathfinder Towing 2021 Sol Horizon
Question:
Pathfinder Tongue max is 500 pounds on this vehicle and towing 5000 lbs. Dry weight of HORIZON is 4000 lbs with tongue of 465 to 495 lbs. From the numbers it looks like it will work. Can I add anything to this to make towing easier/safer? The pathfinder came equipped with the towing package. Thanks.

The hitches we offer for your 2015 Nissan Pathfinder like the Draw Tite part # 76031 have enough weight capacity for the weight of your trailer and also are rated for weight distribution which gives them a slight increase in towing capacity as well as allows the trailer to be towed in a safer way by redistributing some of the trailer tongue weight up to the front axle of the tow vehicle.
For one that is rated for the weight of your camper and has the best sway control the Strait Line part # RP66083 which has a range of 400-800 lbs. This will help with suspension sag, handling, and improve braking.
