I suggest using a strap wrench to hold the cylinder side while tightening the installation hardware on the Replacement Foot Pad, # LC324269.

You'll have to hold the leg of your jack still so that you can unscrew the bottom of the foot pad to replace it. If you have a large set of channel locks you could do this pretty easily with them. The trick will be hold it tight enough to…
