Tip for Holding Jack Leg Still When Unbolting Foot Plate for # LC324269

Question:

Hi, I have a damaged footpad using LC324269. When I try to unscrew the damaged footpad, the cylinder or the rod is turning with the screw. This prevents me from unscrewing the pad. What should I do? Thank you very much

You'll have to hold the leg of your jack still so that you can unscrew the bottom of the foot pad to replace it. If you have a large set of channel locks you could do this pretty easily with them. The trick will be hold it tight enough to keep it from moving but not dent or damage the leg.
