Where Do the Relays Install On Passenger for Trailer Light On 2012 Nissan Frontier
Question:
Truck was apparently not tow ready. I installed the hitch with no problem and plugged the wiring kit into the plug on the left rear of the truck. Flashers, brake and turn signals worked OK. The running lights did not work. Saw a video on Youtube that said the problem was a 10 amp fuse in the fuse box under the hood. Fuse was OK and the running lights still did not work. Instructions then said that a relay had to be installed behind a panel on the passenger side. I ordered the relay and removed the panel and could not tell where to plug the relay in. Picture of the plugs behind the panel is attached. Please tell me what to do next.

It sounds like you still need to install the relay harness behind the passenger side kick panel. This relay harness comes with the harness options for models without a factory tow package on a 2012 Nissan Frontier. I recommend the Curt Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56225 which comes with the relays and relay harness needed to activate the trailer lights. The relay harness is not offered separately.
