Best Solution For a Truck Tailgate To Clear The Electric Tongue Jack On a A-Frame Trailer
Question:
Are there any electric trailer jacks that you can rotate the head 90 degrees so it doesnt hit the tail gate?

I am not aware of any electric trailer jacks that you can rotate just the head of the jack 90 degrees. I have seen the jacks rotated the 120 degrees to line up with the bolt holes that the jack uses to mount to the trailer. This may make your jack more difficult to operate depending on what side of the trailer you are on and if it has a light it will not likely shine on the coupler to help you see at night.
I recommend using an extend ball mount or weight distribution shank.
The Curt Class III Drawbar # C45270 is 13" long from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball mount. Most standard mounts are 6-8" long so this will gain you an additional 5-7" of clearance for your tailgate.
The Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank # EQ90-02-4600 is 14" from the hitch pin hole to the center of the vertical bolt holes. This will gain you approximately 6" of additional clearance depending on exactly what hitch you have. This will only fit weight distribution hitches with a 1-1/4" vertical bolt hole spacing from center of each vertical hole.
